Foundations of knowledge regarding energy and resource use can be built at the RELC's or in a traditional classroom. The TLFAST project provides well-developed and well-tested resources and experiences for both.
Groups who attend an ELC become more "energy aware" by participating in our energy reduction challenges prompted by specially designed Energy Action Cards and in activities that are aligned with MN state academic standards and STEM principles in Climate Change, Conservation & Efficiency, Energy Basics, Food & Fuel, and Alternative Energy themes. Learn even more about each center's TLFAST programs on the At The RELC's page.
Find energy-related resources for your classroom including lessons and activities that complement an ELC experience or can be integrated into your own classrooom curriculum. Also find our Energy Action Cards which can be downloaded and posted around your facilities to remind students about their energy choices. Visit the In Your Classroom page.
